Here’s the super easy recipe that’s ready in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 100 grams of lean beef mince (alternatively you can add pork mince, chicken mince or firm tofu if you’re vegetarian)
  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • 1 cup of cos lettuce
  • 1/4 cup chopped water chestnuts (chopped)
  • 18 grams of almond nuts (chopped)
  • 1 tablespooon of soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • Chopped shallots (optional garnishing)

Instructions

  • Cook beef mince in olive oil, over a hot heat, until completely cooked through.
  • Add ginger, water chestnuts, carrots and almond nuts and cook for a few minutes.
  • Add soy or tamari sauce, fish sauce and honey.
  • Serve in cos lettuce cups, or as a salad.
  • Garnish with shallots if you like.
